Standard Day Trip Without Hotel Pickup

We will congregate at the San Sebastián Bus Station to travel towards Hondarribia, a picturesque fishing village located in the northeast of Guipúzcoa. During our stroll through the town, admire the bright façades of San Nikolas Kalea, traverse the Puerta de Santa María de Atea within the historic center, and pose beside the famous "Hatxero" sculpture. Are you aware of its meaning? Our visit will also include the Town Hall, Casadevante Palace, and Zuloaga Palace.

Next, we will proceed to San Juan, situated at the base of Mount Jaizkibel. Here, we will wander along the old pier and observe the fishermen's houses perched on the hillside, as well as explore some of the town's rich array of palaces and churches. Additionally, we will visit a typical 17th-century abode with direct access to the bay, famously hosted by French poet Victor Hugo in 1843!

In San Juan, we will board a fishing boat to cross the bay to San Pedro, where the exploration of the seafaring culture of the Basque Country continues. Upon arrival, we will discover La Torre, the remnants of an ancient fortification, and delve into the old town to stroll through its scenic cobblestone streets by the sea.

After a delightful 4-hour journey, we will return to the designated meeting point in San Sebastián.
