Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we'll meet in front of the San Sebastián Railway Station to begin this day trip. First, we'll leave San Sebastián and travel toward San Juan de Gaztelugatxe. Upon arrival, enjoy the scenery of its 10th-century hermitage and cliffs.
We'll climb its 241 stairs to reach the summit. During the walk, we'll discuss the history of this site, which has attracted many movie and TV directors for filming, notably featuring in Game of Thrones as Dragonstone.
After visiting San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, we'll proceed to Guernica, a historic town in the Basque Country. To learn about its past, we'll visit the Gernikako Arbola and Picasso's Guernica mural. You'll also explore its center and learn about the village's bombing during the Spanish Civil War.
Finally, you will have 1 hour of free time for lunch at a restaurant in Guernica to enjoy Basque cuisine. After lunch, we will return to San Sebastián, concluding this 7.5-hour day trip.

Important information
On the day of the activity, we'll meet in front of the bar on the platforms of the San Sebastián Railway Station. You'll easily access it if you use the main ramp in the station and head down to the -1 floor.
Please be at the meeting point at least 15 minutes beforehand.
