We'll begin our adventure bright and early at 6 am, picking you up from your accommodation in Santa Marta. As we traverse the picturesque Colombian landscape, we’ll enjoy a delightful breakfast en route. After approximately 3.5 hours, we’ll arrive at our captivating destination: Cartagena!

Upon arrival, we’ll follow the coastline of the Caribbean Sea, exploring the vibrant areas of Laguito, Castillo Grande, and Bocagrande, known for its stunning white sandy beaches. Around noon, we’ll ascend to the Convent of Santa Cruz de la Popa, perched at 485 feet (148 meters) above sea level. Here, we’ll take in the beauty of the Spanish-style interior courtyards and the renowned Church of Candelaria.

Next, we’ll return to the historic walled city for a meal at the acclaimed "La Mulata" restaurant. The lunch will feature a selection including fish soup, coconut rice, tostones, and salad. Following our meal, we'll continue to explore the magnificent San Felipe de Barajas Castle, constructed in 1657, a true emblem of the Spanish colonial era.

Our journey will then lead us through the bustling commercial district of the city center. As we stroll amongst the Colombian artisan shops, we’ll make our way to the Gold Museum for a closer look. Afterwards, we’ll visit the vibrant Plaza de Bolivar and Plaza de San Pedro, two of the most energetic spots in Cartagena.

Finally, we'll begin our journey back to Santa Marta, completing the return trip in about 3.5 hours. Upon arrival, we’ll escort you back to your hotel, where we’ll bid you farewell.
