Coffee Tour at La Cafetera Farm

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your accommodation and head to the Minca sector. Our journey will take us upward through varied landscapes, transitioning from drier forest to lush rainforest, where the temperature becomes pleasantly mild. We will reach the stunning Y viewpoint, situated at an elevation of 1,200 meters. Here, a breathtaking vista of the surrounding area, including the towns of Santa Marta and La Ciénaga Grande, awaits us!

Following the panoramic experience, our visit to La Cafetera coffee farm will reveal the comprehensive coffee-making process, from bean planting to brewing. After touring the estate, we will return to Minca for lunch and then explore the Coastal Coffee Growers Cooperative, Caficosta. Here, we will partake in a coffee preparation demonstration and a tasting session.

Our excursion will conclude with your drop-off at the hotel, totaling around 8 hours of immersion in coffee culture.

Coffee Experience at La Candelaria Farm

We will meet at the arranged time to start your coffee adventure from Santa Marta. A quick stop will be made to stretch our legs in the charming town of Minca, before we proceed to La Candelaria coffee farm for an insightful look at various coffee types and the essential germination, cultivation, and harvesting processes.

Here, you'll uncover the intricacies of Colombian coffee, the pride of the nation. Afterward, we’ll head back to Minca for a traditional lunch and then visit the Coastal Coffee Growers Cooperative, Caficosta. This visit will include a discussion on roasting techniques, a live demonstration on making coffee-based beverages, and a delightful coffee tasting experience.

We will wrap up our day with the return to Santa Marta, ensuring you are back at your hotel after approximately 8 hours.
