Activity Overview

We will collect you from your accommodation in Santiago de Chile at the scheduled time, embarking on a picturesque drive to the breathtaking Cajón del Maipo. During this 2.5-hour journey, you’ll appreciate the stunning landscapes of the Andes and its pristine surroundings.

Upon reaching the base camp, our team will offer you a friendly welcome and provide you with essential gear including a helmet, life jacket, and wetsuit. Here, you’ll learn the techniques for paddling and receive comprehensive safety instructions to ensure a pleasurable experience.

The rafting adventure will commence shortly after. The Maipo River, fed by melting snow from the Andes, features Class III and IV rapids that promise an authentic aquatic thrill. During the approximate 2-hour ride, a guide will be present in a kayak, navigating the route and offering assistance during the more demanding sections of the river.

After successfully tackling the rapids, we’ll take a moment to relax on dry land and indulge in some juice alongside a selection of nuts and cheeses. This is a great chance to unwind and share your favorite moments of the day with fellow adventurers.

Finally, we will head back to Santiago, concluding our journey as we drop you off at your hotel after a delightful 8.5-hour experience.
