Cajón del Maipo Exploration

Your adventure begins with hotel pickup in Santiago as we set off for Cajón del Maipo, one of Chile’s most captivating destinations, showcasing stunning Andean vistas nestled in the Andes Mountains. The trip takes about an hour, during which the striking landscapes will transform as we ascend into the mountains.

Continuing onward, we will pass by the El Yeso Reservoir, a significant attraction within Cajón del Maipo. Be prepared to be captivated by its turquoise waters, framed by mountains at an altitude of 2,500 meters (8,202 ft) above sea level!

Once we reach our highest point, we’ll disembark to begin the biking adventure. Let's start pedaling! Our downhill trail will take you through the awe-inspiring landscapes of Cajón del Maipo.

On our bikes, we will encounter the distinct Andean flora and fauna while feeling the thrill of navigating winding paths. Get ready for an exhilarating ride! After the descent, we’ll pause for a snack to replenish our energy.

We’ll then return the bikes and make our way back to Santiago, concluding the tour with drop-off at your hotel approximately 9 hours later.

Vineyard Adventure + Wine Tasting

For a different take on the Cajón del Maipo experience, this option is ideal. After collecting you from the hotel, we'll journey through the Andes to the historic Palacio Majadas de Pirque, a 19th-century mansion where our bike route will commence.

With everything in place, we will embark on a ride through the vineyards of the Maipo Valley. Our guide will share insights about grape cultivation in this Chilean region, along with the intricacies of making its award-winning wines.

Next, we'll put our bikes aside and venture into the winery for exploration. Over the course of 1.5 hours, you'll take part in a guided tour to discover all aspects of the winemaking process. To conclude the day, we’ll savor a tasting of three premium wines from the winery, accompanied by a delicious cheese platter.

Ultimately, we will return to your hotel, wrapping the tour approximately 9 hours after our start.
