Imagine yourself descending the slopes at one of the premier ski resorts in South America. This day excursion to El Colorado offers an opportunity for a ski or snowboard lesson.

Are you in Santiago and seeking a winter experience? We’ll gather at the designated starting point, and after a brief journey, we will reach a ski attire rental location. There, you will get outfitted with all the essential equipment such as gloves, pants, jackets, and ski goggles for this excursion to El Colorado. Ready for the adventure? Let's proceed!

Following a 30-minute drive, you’ll be greeted with a pisco sour and stunning views at the El Colorado ski resort, situated at over 2,500 meters (8,202 feet) above sea level. Enveloped by snow-laden mountains, pine trees, and the crisp air of the Andes, this is the quintessential winter backdrop.

Upon arrival, you’ll decide between skiing or snowboarding, and we will provide the necessary equipment. Once you’re set, you'll enjoy 6 hours of leisure time to experience one of South America’s leading ski destinations. Included in this experience is a 2-hour lesson, led by a skilled instructor who will cover the fundamentals, ensuring you gain confidence on the slopes.

The resort boasts 50 kilometers (31 miles) of terrain distributed over 112 various runs, catering to beginners as well as advanced skiers and snowboarders. There are 18 ski lifts available, consisting of 2 double chairlifts, 3 triple chairlifts, and 12 surface lifts. You will also find 3 restaurants and a pub onsite for refreshments and meals at your convenience.

As the day concludes, we will reconvene to return the equipment and begin our trip back to the meeting point in Santiago, where we will part ways after roughly 12 hours together.

Options for the Activity

During the booking process, you can select from two available packages:

Day trip without clothing rental: This option does not include snow attire rental. You may bring your own equipment or rent it separately at the shop we visit.
Day trip with clothing rental: This package encompasses snow gear including gloves, boots, pants, a jacket, and goggles.

In all cases, we’ll meet at the selected point 15 minutes before the scheduled time. You’ll recognize the guide by their red jacket.
