Snowshoe Adventure in Cajon del Maipo

Your day begins with a morning pickup from your hotel as we set off towards the Andes mountain range. After about an hour of travel, our initial stop will be in San José del Maipo, where we will gather the necessary supplies for our snowshoe trek.

Prior to embarking on our journey, the guide will provide crucial safety instructions to ensure an enjoyable experience. We will then spend two and a half hours hiking through captivating Andean scenery, making our way to Lo Valdés.

Once we have arrived in the picturesque Cajón del Maipo canyon, a break will be taken for a picnic lunch. While you savor the stunning views, we will share intriguing stories and legends about the volcanic landscapes surrounding us.

After refreshing ourselves, we will begin our descent back to San José del Maipo. If you wish, you may indulge in the delicious local empanadas from a nearby bakery, perfectly complemented by a refreshing beer or juice (not included).

The snowshoe adventure in Cajón del Maipo concludes with our return trip to Santiago, where we will drop you off at your hotel.
