Undurraga Wine Tour & Tasting Itinerary

After being collected from your hotel in Santiago de Chile, your half-day excursion begins as you head towards the commune of Talagante. Enjoy a comfortable minibus ride over approximately 25 miles (40 km) of picturesque Chilean landscapes until you arrive at the Undurraga Winery, known for being one of the oldest wineries in the country and the first Chilean vineyard to export wines to the United States.

Explore the winery grounds, visiting the family park and the Aliwen area, where you will find ceremonial wooden sculptures that celebrate the culture of the Mapuche people, an indigenous group native to this region of Chile.

Inside Undurraga Winery, you will enjoy a guided tour to learn about the production processes that have been in place for over 140 years. You will also have the chance to explore the underground wine cellars, which date back to the winery's foundation at the end of the 19th century and have been aging their Reserva wines for years.

Your experience culminates in a wine tasting, where you will sample three different wines and learn about the distinct elements that make each one unique.

After your wine tour and tasting experience, you will be taken back to your hotel in Santiago de Chile.
