Valle Nevado & Farellones Snow Tour

Enjoy a day in the snow in the Andes mountain range. We'll visit Valle Nevado and Farellones, the most renowned ski resorts in Latin America.

Tour Details

After picking you up at your hotel at the indicated time, we'll leave Santiago and head into the Andes mountain range to visit Farellones and Valle Nevado, favourite destinations for tourists and locals alike due to their famous ski resorts.

We'll stop at an equipment rental shop so you can kit yourselves out with waterproof clothing. Once you're dressed and properly equipped, we'll continue the tour.

We'll head to Farellones, a village located at 2,300 m (7,545 ft) above sea level, where we'll explore its streets, learn about its history and discover the lifestyle of its inhabitants. Here, you can decide whether to stay and explore the area at your leisure, or continue climbing to the next stop.

If you choose to continue, we'll ascend to an altitude of over 3,000 m (9,842 ft) above sea level until we reach Valle Nevado, the most exclusive ski resort in South America. Here, you'll have between 2 and 3 hours of free time to enjoy the snow.

After a day of fun in the snow, we'll make our way back to Santiago de Chile, stopping at Farellones to pick up those of you who have chosen to stay here. We'll finally say goodbye at the starting point after a total of 8 hours.

Hotel Pickup

This tour includes a pickup and drop-off service at hotels in the following areas of Santiago de Chile: Providencia, Las Condes, Vitacura, and Santiago Centro. If your accommodation is located in a different district, your guide will contact you to arrange an alternative meeting point.

How Does it Work?

You will start your adventure with a convenient pickup from your hotel. Once everyone is on board, the excursion leads you directly into the stunning Andes mountain range.

The first stop is at the equipment rental shop, where you can rent waterproof clothing necessary for your day in the snow. It's essential to wear appropriate clothing for both comfort and warmth.

As you journey to Farellones, there will be opportunities to learn about the area’s history. You can choose to explore at your own pace or proceed to the next destination.

If you decide to continue, the next stop will be Valle Nevado. After arriving here, you will have approximately 2 to 3 hours of free time to engage in various snow activities, such as skiing or snowboarding, making the most of your visit.

At the end of the day, we will return to Santiago, stopping briefly at Farellones to collect any participants who stayed back. The complete experience will last around 8 hours, wrapping up with drop-off at your original pickup location.
