Viña Santa Rita Bike Tour

Embark on this cycling adventure through the vineyards of Santa Rita, renowned as one of Chile’s leading wineries, while also exploring the Andean Museum. Your experience will be complemented by a delightful picnic and a wine tasting.

Options for the Tour

During your reservation, you may select between a picnic option or a lunch option. Here are the specifics for each experience:

Option with Picnic

After boarding the bus at our designated starting point, we will set out for a scenic journey of 40 km (24.8 mi) south of Santiago, passing through the picturesque Maipo Valley.

Upon reaching Viña Santa Rita, you'll be captivated by its beautiful gardens and striking architecture, noted as a Historic Monument. We will provide you with bicycles and helmets to commence your ride through Centenario Park before venturing into the sprawling vineyards.

As we pedal along, hear the intriguing tales of the winery’s origins and arrive at the cellars to discover the intricacies of wine production, from grape to bottle. You’ll learn about its celebrated range of 120 wines, including the award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon, honored as the best in South America by The Washington Post. A tasting of three wines: one Reserva and two Gran Reserva will also be included.

One of the tour's highlights is the picnic experience in the gardens of Viña Santa Rita. Enjoy a spread featuring cheese and cured meats alongside a traditional ciabatta sandwich, all paired with a chosen Santa Rita wine that beautifully reflects the terroir of the central valley.

Post-lunch, we will make our way to the Andean Museum located at Viña Santa Rita, where a guided tour awaits, showcasing over 3,000 ethnographic artifacts that shed light on the area’s rich pre-Columbian heritage. The museum's contemporary design amidst the valley will be a delightful surprise.

Finally, we’ll regroup at the vehicle for our return ride to the meeting point in Santiago, concluding the tour approximately 8 hours after departure.

Option with Lunch

This choice follows the same itinerary as described previously; however, instead of a picnic, you'll indulge in a delectable 3-course lunch at the restaurant of Viña Santa Rita.
