Upon booking, you may select between the picnic tour or the lunch tour. Below are the specifics for each journey:

Picnic Tour 

After gathering at the designated meeting point, we’ll embark on a scenic 40 km (24.8 mi) drive south of Santiago. This route will take you through the stunning landscapes of the Maipo Valley.

Upon arrival at Viña Santa Rita, you will be welcomed by its picturesque gardens and remarkable architecture. Interesting to note, this site has been declared a Historic Monument. You will be fitted with bicycles and helmets to adventure through Centenario Park before visiting the expansive vineyards.

Listening to captivating tales about the winery's origin, we will journey to the cellars to uncover the wine-making process, tracing the journey from vine to glass. You will learn about its acclaimed collection of 120 wines. Had you heard it was awarded the title of best Cabernet Sauvignon in South America by The Washington Post? We will also sample a tasting of 3 wines: one Reserva and two Gran Reserva.

One of the highlights is the picnic in the gardens of Viña Santa Rita. Here, we’ll enjoy a board of cheeses and cold cuts alongside a traditional ciabatta sandwich. This delightful meal will be paired with a Santa Rita wine, thoughtfully selected to highlight the character of the central valley's terroir.

After this delightful meal, we will proceed to the Andean Museum at Viña Santa Rita for a guided tour. You will witness over 3,000 ethnographic pieces that celebrate the richness of the region’s pre-Columbian cultures. The museum's modern and minimalist design nestled in the valley is sure to captivate.

To conclude, we will return to the bus for our journey back to the original meeting point in Santiago, completing the tour approximately 8 hours later.

Lunch Tour

This tour follows the same itinerary as the picnic option, with the difference being a delectable 3-course lunch served at the Viña Santa Rita restaurant.
