This hidden treasure lies at the entrance of the Valdesia Dam, nourished by the flowing waters of the Nizao River, an important river in the Dominican Republic that extends 118 kilometers (73 miles).
As we trek along the river, we will make our way to the impressive El Barco rock. You’ll enjoy approximately one hour of leisure to dive into the refreshing crystal-clear waters of the Muchas Aguas River and take stunning photographs against a picturesque backdrop.
Prior to wrapping up our expedition, we will take a moment to savor a traditional Dominican lunch consisting of rice, salad, and your selection of water or a soft drink.
Ultimately, we will conclude our journey at the initial meeting point, finishing the activity roughly five hours after we begin.

This tour accommodates participants from two distinct gathering spots, depending on whether you’re situated in Santo Domingo or San Cristobal:
- Santo Domingo: Assemble at Plaza Duarte
- San Cristobal: Assemble at the central park of Cambita Garabito

The day before the activity, the local tour company will contact you to confirm the exact pickup time, which will depend on your location.
On the day of the activity, we'll meet you at the meeting point you have indicated during the booking:
- If you have chosen Santo Domingo, we'll pick you up at Plaza Duarte (Plaza Duarte, Autop. Duarte Km. 10 1/2).
- If you have chosen San Cristobal, we'll pick you up at the central park of Cambita Garabito (C. Eugenio Perdomo 11, Cambita Garabitos 91000).
Please arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes in advance.
