Tour of Segovia, Cathedral, and Alcázar
We'll commence our adventure at the specified meeting point in downtown Segovia, where we will set off to explore its renowned streets and landmarks.
Our first stop will be the impressive Aqueduct, regarded as the most well-preserved Roman aqueduct globally. With a history spanning over 2,000 years, it is an unmistakable highlight upon your arrival in Segovia!
Continuing along Calle Real, the principal avenue of the city, you’ll come across intriguing sites such as Plaza de Medina del Campo, encircled by stunning Renaissance palaces, as well as Plaza del Corpus Christi, notable for its former synagogue, which has been transformed into a church.
In the heart of Plaza Mayor, we will find the grand cathedral, affectionately known as the "Lady of Cathedrals." Esteemed for its immense size and striking beauty, we will step inside Segovia Cathedral to appreciate its remarkable architecture from the 16th century. You’ll be captivated by the splendid blend of Gothic and Renaissance styles as we walk through the main nave.
As we navigate through the Canonjías neighborhood, we will make our way to the breathtaking Alcázar of Segovia, a fortress celebrated across Spain. Are you curious to uncover its secrets? Let’s venture inside!
This enriching experience will come to a close after 2.5 hours outside the Alcázar, leaving you with lasting memories of Segovia’s charm.
