Tour Overview
At the designated time, we will convene at the meeting point to kick off this gastronomic tour of Seoul. Are you prepared to savor the authentic tastes of South Korea's capital? Let’s begin!
During our food adventure in Seoul, we will explore the traditional flavors of the nation while visiting some of the city's most captivating locations, perfect for an evening stroll.
Our journey first takes us to Changgyeong Palace. This site features the stunning Myeongjeongjeon Hall and the tranquil Chundangji Pond, creating an enchanting atmosphere as night falls. While wandering through the grounds of this 15th-century palace, our guide will enthrall us with captivating tales of royal existence and highlight enchanting details, such as intricate gates and historic stone bridges.
Next, we will board a vehicle and travel to our subsequent destination, immersing ourselves in the bustling ambiance of Gwangjang Market. Here, we’ll visit three premier stalls and relish some of South Korea's signature street dishes, including crispy Modeumjeon savory pancakes and sweet, twisted donuts named Kkwabaegi. For the adventurous eaters, optional tastings of chopped live octopus and Korean blood sausage are available as well. With valuable tips from our guide, we will uncover the rich flavors of South Korean cuisine!
As our experience concludes, we will head to Jogyesa Temple, a serene sanctuary in the urban landscape and a hub of Korean Zen Buddhism since the early 1900s. Inside, you will find the main Buddha Hall, adorned with vibrant statues, detailed murals, and strings of lanterns symbolizing hopes and enlightenment. Our guide will provide valuable insights into Buddhist customs and the temple's significant presence in Seoul’s spiritual community.
After four enriching hours, our delightful adventure will wrap up at this sacred site.
