4-Hour Experience

At the agreed time, we’ll meet at your chosen location in Seoul. Our first destination will be Jogyesa Temple, a significant site in Korean Buddhism.

Situated in the center of Seoul, this esteemed temple, established in 1935, is a sacred place for many. Are you aware of the story behind its ancient white pine tree? We’ll share its intriguing background!

Following our visit, we’ll proceed to Gyeongbokgung Palace, where you can observe the remarkable changing of the guard ceremony. This event stands out from similar traditions worldwide due to the vibrant display of music and color unique to South Korea.

After witnessing this spectacle, we’ll walk through Gyeongbok Palace, which encapsulates centuries of history and has successfully weathered significant challenges throughout its past.

Post-visit, we’ll take a break for lunch at a local restaurant. Once energized, we’ll continue our exploration with a trip to the National Folk Museum of Korea, conveniently located near Gyeongbokgung Palace, where you can discover replicas emphasizing Korean customs alongside pivotal historical monuments.

Next, we’ll visit the Blue House, the presidential residence and office of South Korea’s leaders. Here, we’ll delve into its history while admiring the stunning blue-tiled roof characteristic of traditional architecture.

To conclude our tour, we’ll head to the Ginseng Center, which focuses on the cultural significance of ginseng in Seoul and its medicinal benefits. Ultimately, we’ll conclude our 4-hour journey at Seoul City Hall or Myeongdong.

8-Hour Experience

If you prefer a more extensive exploration of Seoul, opt for the 8-hour experience. After the Ginseng Center, our journey will take us to the art and crafts markets in Insadong, a vibrant area renowned for unique souvenirs amidst modern galleries and tea houses.

To deepen your understanding of Korean culture, we’ll make our way to the N Seoul Tower, where you can ascend via the Namsan Cable Car, a renowned site offering breathtaking views over Namsan Mountain and Seoul from an elevation exceeding 1968 ft (600 m).

Subsequently, we will visit Myeongdong's shopping street, followed by a trip to Korea's largest traditional market, Namdaemun Market. You’ll find it hard to resist the charming stores!

Our 8-hour adventure will conclude in either the City Hall area or Myeongdong.

Essential Information

On Tuesdays, instead of Gyeongbokgung Palace and the National Folk Museum, the itinerary will feature Changdeokgung Palace and Hanok Village.
