Traditional Seoul Tour + Hanbok Rental
Description
Immerse yourself in tradition by donning a hanbok while you discover Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village in Seoul.
Tour Details
We'll commence our journey at the designated time by gathering at Gyeongbokgung Metro Station. From there, we will proceed on foot to a nearby costume rental shop where you can select your preferred hanbok style. Prepare to feel regal!
Clad in your hanbok, our first destination will be Gyeongbokgung Palace. This historic site holds immense significance as the most prominent palace of the Joseon dynasty, which governed Korea for almost five centuries. Upon arrival, we'll experience the changing of the guard before venturing inside to explore this treasure of the South Korean capital.
After approximately 1.5 to 2 hours in the hanbok, we will return the attire to the rental shop. However, the experience is far from over! We will take a break to indulge in some tasty Korean snacks, a delightful addition to our adventure.
Next, we'll navigate through the enchanting Bukchon Hanok neighborhood, renowned for its traditional charm. As we wander the quaint streets, we'll appreciate the exquisite architecture of the homes and temples that populate the area. Interestingly, this neighborhood was once designated exclusively for the aristocracy during the era of the Joseon Dynasty.
To conclude our exploration, we will visit Baek In-je House, which showcases the modern hanok style that emerged amidst the Japanese occupation.
Our extensive 4-hour tour will culminate in this fascinating locale.
