Tour Options

During the booking process, you can choose from the following options tailored to your preferences:

Standard DMZ Tour

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your selected location in Seoul at the specified time. We will make our way toward the north to explore the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), an extensive buffer area stretching 124 miles (200 km) long and 2.5 miles (4 km) wide, designed to separate North and South Korea.

Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to delve into its notable features. Are you ready to explore one of the world’s most significant sites? We will first traverse Freedom Road, which hugs the banks of the Imjin River until we reach Imjingak Park, where historical artillery from the Korean War is displayed.

Our journey will continue towards the Unification Bridge, established in 1998 to symbolize the aspiration for unity between the two Koreas. Additionally, we will visit an exhibition room within the DMZ that showcases documents and various artifacts connected to the military conflict.

Subsequently, we will enter the infiltration tunnel that has been constructed beneath the border. After this, the Dora Observatory awaits, where you can utilize telescopes to gaze upon the North Korean town of Kijongdong. While North Koreans refer to this location as "Peace Village," it is often labeled as "Propaganda Village" by South Koreans and media from the West.

We will conclude this day trip by returning to your starting point in Seoul, with a total duration ranging from 7 to 8.5 hours.

Standard DMZ Tour + Gamaksan Suspension Bridge

If you opt for the experience that includes the Gamaksan Suspension Bridge, we will follow the same itinerary as the Standard DMZ Tour, with the additional highlight of visiting the Gamaksan Suspension Bridge. This bridge is the longest of its kind in South Korea, measuring 220 meters (725 ft) long and 1.5 meters (5 ft) wide, engineered to withstand winds of up to 30 meters per second (67 mph) and earthquakes reaching 7 in magnitude—truly an impressive structure!

Please be aware that this option is exclusive to the 7 am time slot.

DMZ Surroundings Tour

On Mondays, the Korean Demilitarized Zone is closed, offering an alternative route that takes you right up to the border, without entering the DMZ itself.

Our tour will start along the Jogang River, which is part of the inter-Korean border. While we won't cross military checkpoints, we will stop at a **prominent location** that oversees North Korean territory. Here, a brief stop at the Aegibong checkpoint will be crucial, as you must present your passport to access this sensitive area.

Next, we will visit the Marine Corps Memorial, dedicated to the 15,000 soldiers who valiantly fought during the Korean War. We will also stroll through the Aegibong Peace Ecological Park, merging historical significance with environmental initiative.

You will have the chance to walk on beautiful trails and elevated platforms, including a 150-meter (492-foot) suspension bridge that provides stunning views over the now peaceful no man’s land, a sanctuary for over 80 endangered bird species.

Additionally, we will stop at the Peace Bell, cast in 2000 to symbolize reunification, along with a memorial altar established in 2018.

Our excursion will then take us to the Jogang Observatory, the nearest viewpoint to the border. A short break will follow, allowing for refreshments at your own expense before heading back to Seoul. The experience will conclude at a centralized location in the Hongdae district after about 5 hours.

Important: Please be advised that this tour will not include a visit to the infiltration tunnel.
