As you finalize your reservation, you can choose from the following tour alternatives based on your preferences and the selected date:

Standard DMZ Tour

Your adventure begins with a pickup at your designated location in Seoul at the specified time, after which we will make our way northwards to uncover the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). This 124-mile-long (200 km) and 2.5-mile-wide (4 km) buffer zone marks the division between North Korea and South Korea.

Upon arrival, we will visit several significant sites. Ready to explore one of the most extraordinary locations globally? Our first stop will be Freedom Road, which runs parallel to the Imjin River until we reach Imjingak Park, where you’ll view artillery pieces used during the Korean War.

Afterwards, we will proceed to the Unification Bridge, inaugurated in 1998 as a representation of the hope for reconciliation between the two Koreas. Additionally, we'll tour an exhibition room in the DMZ that features documents and artifacts pertaining to the military conflict.

Next, we will enter the infiltration tunnel, which was excavated beneath the border. Following our exit from the tunnel, we will visit the Dora Observatory, where telescopes will allow us to observe the North Korean town of Kijongdong. While referred to as "Peace Village" by North Koreans, it is often called "Propaganda Village" by those from the South and Western media.

We will conclude this 7 to 8.5-hour outing by returning to the original meeting point in Seoul.

Standard DMZ Tour + Gamaksan Suspension Bridge

Opting for the upgraded tour that includes the Gamaksan Suspension Bridge will follow the same path as the aforementioned itinerary, adding a visit to the Gamaksan Suspension Bridge, the longest of its kind in South Korea. Extending 220 meters (725 ft) in length and 1.5 meters (5 ft) in width, the bridge is designed to endure winds of up to 30 meters per second (67 mph) and earthquakes measuring up to 7 on the Richter scale. Quite impressive!

Note that this option is limited to the 7 am slot only.

DMZ Surroundings Tour

On Mondays, access to the Korean Demilitarized Zone is restricted. Consequently, we offer this alternative tour around the perimeter, getting as close as possible to the border without entering the DMZ.

Our journey will lead us along the Jogang River, a natural waterway that aligns with the inter-Korean boundary.

While we won’t pass through any military checkpoints, we will stop at a strategic viewpoint over North Korean territory. Here, at the Aegibong checkpoint, it is mandatory to show your passport to access this sensitive area.

Next, we will pay our respects at the Marine Corps Memorial, honoring the over 15,000 soldiers who fought in this region during the Korean War. We will also visit the Aegibong Peace Ecological Park, a site that merges historical commemoration with ecological restoration.

During the tour, you’ll walk along scenic trails and an elevated pathway that includes a 150-meter (492-foot) suspension bridge, offering superb views over the no man’s land, now a natural haven home to more than 80 rare bird species.

We will also check out the Peace Bell, cast in 2000 as a symbol of reunification, alongside the memorial altar established in 2018.

At the end of our visit, we ascend to the Jogang Observatory, the closest vantage point to the border, followed by a brief stop for refreshments at your expense. We will then return to Seoul, concluding a total experience of 5 hours in the central Hongdae area.
