Itinerary
You will be picked up from your hotel in Seoul and embark on a journey to discover the city’s most iconic palaces, temples, and monuments.
Your first stop will be the Blue House, the official residence and executive office of the President. The name comes from the bright blue tiles covering its roof. An expert guide will provide insights into the building's history, highlighting its significance during various conflicts.
Next, you will visit the Gyeongbokgung Palace, where you can witness the changing of the guards ceremony, a unique and colorful event. In addition to this experience, you will have the chance to explore the palace, the main royal residence of the Joseon dynasty.
Staying within the palace grounds, the tour continues to the National Folk Museum, featuring exhibits that detail the diverse traditions and lifestyles of Korea, along with significant historical events in Seoul. Be sure to appreciate the museum's architecture, a stunning example of traditional Korean design.
The final stop will be the Jogyesa Temple, a leading temple in Korean Buddhism. Nestled in the city's heart, this colorful and beautifully adorned temple is surrounded by a serene garden of lotus flowers, creating a tranquil environment.
Your tour will conclude at Seoul City Hall.
