Alcázar, Seville Cathedral and La Giralda Guided Tour
Description
Witness the magic of Seville by visiting its 3 most important monuments and symbols of the city: the Royal Alcázar, the Cathedral, and la Giralda.
Tour Description
The journey begins in the historic heart of Seville, where the tour showcases the most iconic landmarks of this magnificent Spanish city.
The first destination is the Santa María de la Sede Cathedral, constructed on the site of the former mosque of Seville. Upon arrival, its vast dimensions will impress as it stands as the largest Gothic temple in the world. The exploration includes a walk through its interior, highlighting its fascinating history, particularly the main altarpiece and the Christopher Columbus tomb.
Next, the tour will ascend the Giralda, the city's unmistakable symbol. Attendees will have the opportunity to climb this tower independently, taking in the stunning views of Seville from a height of 98 meters (321 feet).
Following this, the itinerary includes a visit to the Royal Alcázar of Seville, the oldest royal palace still in use in Europe. This magnificent palace complex, constructed over various historical periods, showcases a perfect blend of Mudejar style and Gothic architecture.
