At the specified time, make your way to the office located at Calle Alemanes, number 31, where you will receive your Alcázar tickets. Instructions to download the English audio guide app will also be provided. Once you’re equipped, you can proceed to the monument to commence your exploration.
Upon arrival, you will encounter a stunning architectural masterpiece, showcasing the various cultures that have influenced this Andalusian city. The interior reflects a tapestry of artistic styles including Islamic, Mudejar, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque.
Inside, you can explore the most renowned sections of the monument such as the Patio de las Doncellas, the Baños de María Padilla, the Admiral's Room, and the Gothic Palace.
You will also have the opportunity to stroll through the sprawling gardens of the Alcázar, including the English Garden, the Vega-Inclán Garden, the Prince's Garden, and the Grutesco Gallery. On the day of the visit, please pick up your tickets at Calle Alemanes 31. There, we'll also explain how to download the audio guide.
Necessary Documentation
- According to the internal regulations of the Reales Alcázares, each traveller must carry their official documentation (ID card or passport) physically and in hand to access the palace in order to prove their identity. Photocopies and photos of the document on your mobile phone are not allowed.
- If you do not have your identity document, you'll be denied access to the monument and you won't be able to enjoy the visit.
- We will not be held responsible if you do not have your documentation on the day of the visit, and the amount paid will not be refunded if you don't have, or forget, your ID/Passport.
Opening Times
The Alcázar of Seville is open daily from 9:30 am to 7 pm. However, these times are approximate and may change.
Important Info
- Tickets can be collected from the office one hour before the time of your booking. Entry time is the same time you have booked the tour. For example, if you have booked the tour at 4 pm, your tickets will be for 4 pm, and you can collect them from the office from 3 pm.
- You will need to bring your own headphones to use the audio guide. Although it can be used in reading mode, the experience is enhanced by listening to it. Please note that, as it's a mobile app, you need to have space to install it.
- WiFi is available in the office so that you can download the app and find out everything about your visit, such as the entrance gates, how the app works, and how long tickets can be used (depending on the monument).
