Options for Day Trips
When arranging your excursion to Gibraltar from Seville, you have the choice of the following options:
Gibraltar Day Trip with Dolphin Watching
You will be picked up at an agreed time in the center of Seville, followed by a journey southward.
After approximately 2.5 hours on the road, we'll arrive at the port of Gibraltar for a delightful 1.5-hour boat excursion. During this trip, you will have the chance to witness dolphins in their natural environment, providing a wonderful opportunity to observe these playful creatures!
Upon returning to land, the remainder of the day is yours to explore Gibraltar at your own leisure. We will then reconvene in central Gibraltar to journey back to Seville, wrapping up this comprehensive 10-hour experience.
Gibraltar Day Trip
Our adventure begins with the pickup at the designated location to board our bus headed south.
As we traverse through the province of Cádiz and witness the lush scenery of the Alcornocales Natural Park, we will reach the border around 11 am. After passing through customs, our "Rock Tour" will commence via minibus.
From the Punta Europa viewpoint, you will enjoy stunning vistas of the African coastline, then we will advance into the natural reserve of the Peñón to admire the sights from Hercules' Columns. This landmark marked the edge of the ancient world according to the Greeks and is prominently featured on the Spanish coat of arms.
Our exploration continues deep into the Peñón, where we will visit the underground Saint Michael's Cave. This intriguing site, adorned with stunning formations like stalactites and stalagmites, served as a military shelter for many years, harboring numerous fascinating stories unveiled during our journey.
After exiting the caves, prepare to meet the rock's most renowned residents: the famous monkeys of Gibraltar. These wild monkeys are a rarity in Europe, and following this, you will have some free time to enjoy lunch and browse the shops along Main Street, which reflects the British commercial influence on the rock.
Finally, we will return to Seville, aiming to arrive by approximately 8 pm.
