Would you like to uncover the history of the Principality of Transylvania? We will meet in front of the statue of Samuel von Brukenthal in Sibiu's Grand Square, the city's heart. Here, surrounded by Renaissance façades, we will commence our free tour of Sibiu, stepping back into the time of the Saxons of Transylvania.

From there, we'll take a short walk to the west until we arrive at the Lutheran Cathedral. Its impressive 73 m (239 ft) Gothic tower serves as a spiritual landmark over the city. Construction began in the 14th century, and for centuries it has represented the strength and faith of the German settlers.

Next, we will seek out the Bridge of Lies, the most renowned in the country. Legend has it that if someone lies on it, its foundations will tremble. The small attic windows on the rooftops appear to watch over those passing by, earning Sibiu its nickname as the "City With Eyes."

Finally, we will stroll along Citadel Street, a medieval treasure bordered by ancient walls and watchtowers that have successfully protected the city for centuries. Through its cobbled streets, passageways and flower-filled courtyards, we will fall in love with one of the most enchanting cities in Eastern Europe.
