The adventure begins at the specified time at the Siena - Ferrovia stop, from where we will travel southbound to Montalcino. As we travel in our minibus, take in the stunning vistas of the Tuscan vineyards.

Upon arrival, you'll have 1.5 hours of leisure time to explore the charming town of Montalcino. This is a great chance to see the exterior of its beautiful 19th-century neoclassical cathedral, admire the impressive medieval tower located at Piazza del Popolo, and perhaps pick up some local crafts or souvenirs.

Following your free time, we will reconvene for a visit to a winery where you will uncover the secrets behind the famous Brunello di Montalcino wine, a well-respected Denomination of Origin with international acclaim. It’s time to learn more!

During our time at the winery, we’ll tour the barrel room to understand the aging process integral to this distinguished beverage. We will also delve into the characteristics of the Sangiovese grape, the key fruit in the creation of Brunello. Interestingly, this grape variety, known as the bleeding grape, has been utilized for winemaking since the days of the Roman Empire.

The tour will culminate in a delightful wine tasting, where you will sample this celebrated red wine alongside some traditional sausages like salami. A true culinary delight!

Your experience concludes with a drop-off back at the original meeting point in Siena, wrapping up a fulfilling 5.5-hour journey.
