San Gimignano & Montalcino Exploration

We will convene at the Siena - Ferrovia bus stop, ready to embark on our journey to San Gimignano. This charming town is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, easily identifiable by its iconic medieval towers that shape its skyline.

After a scenic 40-minute drive, we will arrive at our first destination. You will have 2 hours of leisure time to wander around San Gimignano. We suggest meandering through the narrow alleys and taking in the beauty of its stunning squares, such as Piazza del Duomo, home to the Collegiata della Assunta di Maria, and Piazza della Cisterna, which was once the site of the medieval market.

Following our exploration, we’ll head to a local winery for a delightful tasting of Chianti wines, a tradition that dates back to the 13th century. You’ll have an hour to savor the local wines paired with a selection of salami, cheeses, and other gourmet appetizers.

Our adventure will then lead us to the Orcia Valley, another treasure of Tuscany, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004. Here, we will visit Montalcino, a hilltop town surrounded by 1,500 hectares of Brunello vineyards that have made this region renowned worldwide.

To conclude our day, we’ll visit another winery to sample the esteemed Brunello di Montalcino, one of Italy's most celebrated wines.

After a full day packed with experiences, we will return you to the original meeting point, wrapping up approximately 11 hours of exploration and enjoyment.
