Skiing Tour in Granada
We'll gather at the scheduled time at the hostel Albergue Universitario de Sierra Nevada, where our exciting snowshoeing adventure will commence.
Initially, a short instructional session will prepare you to use the provided equipment effectively. Then, we will embark on a journey that reaches elevations exceeding 2500 meters above sea level. If you've yet to experience walking on snow, there's no need for concern; we will equip you with poles and snowshoes to navigate the terrain seamlessly.
Our exploration will cover approximately 8 kilometers (5 miles) within the stunning scenery of Sierra Nevada. Prepare to be captivated by the extraordinary natural beauty surrounding Granada, all while enjoying the playful interaction with the snow.
After engaging in this 2-hour trek through the Sierra Nevada peaks, we will make our way back to the starting point, concluding the tour after 3 hours.

Additional Info
On Saturdays and holidays, it is not allowed to reach the hostel by car, so you'll need to park in Pradollano or the Los Peñones parking lot. From there, you can reach the hostel by a local bus.
On the day of the activity, you'll need to bring hiking boots, gloves, a hat, sunscreen, and spare socks for the activity. Depending on the weather conditions, waterproof hiking boots would be best suited.
You must wear boots during the hike. The use of inadequate sports shoes is not permitted, as the use of snowshoe strap rests directly on the ankle area and, without the protection of a boot, can cause discomfort or even injury. If you do not have snow boots, you can contact the local team to rent them.
