Shark Cage Diving in False Bay
Our adventure begins at the designated time on Wharf Street in Simon's Town. Once we gather, we will provide a briefing on essential safety protocols to swim with sharks in a secure manner. Are you ready for this thrilling experience? Let's set off!
We will board a boat and navigate towards the port of False Bay. After you gear up with the necessary equipment, you’ll be prepared for an unforgettable adventure!
Forming groups of no more than four individuals, we will gradually enter the cages submerged in the Atlantic. An unforgettable experience awaits us below the surface: the chance to see sharks! These impressive creatures will swim just inches away from our cage, but rest assured! The protective bars ensure our safety from their jaws, making this experience completely secure.
While awaiting your turn, enjoy a complimentary on-board snack featuring crisps, chocolates, fruits, gluten-free options, and beverages including tea and coffee.
After our exhilarating shark-spotting session, we will return to the dock, concluding our aquatic adventure after approximately four hours of activity.
Schedule of the Activity
You can select your preferred time, but keep in mind that sea conditions may influence our schedule. If necessary, we may need to postpone, so we suggest keeping your day flexible in case of a later departure.
Activity Requirements
- No prior diving or snorkeling experience is needed to participate in this adventure.
- Children under 5 are not eligible for this activity.
- Only individuals aged 11 and above may engage in diving.
- This experience is not advised for individuals with heart conditions.

Important information
We'll meet at the Simon's Town Boardwalk Centre: Wharf St, Simon's Town, Cape Town, 7975, South Africa. We recommend being at the meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance.
On the day of the tour, you should bring your swimsuit, a towel, and dry clothes to change into. The boat has private showers available. If you want to film the experience yourself, please bring underwater cameras.
Please note that the sea conditions can affect the activity schedule. If necessary, the activity can be delayed, so we recommend keeping the day free in case we depart later than expected.
