This Mediterranean adventure takes you to both Gozo and Comino islands. Upon arrival, enjoy exploring these beautiful locations at your own pace, with multiple ferries scheduled for return trips to Malta in the afternoon.
Activities on Gozo & Comino
Your journey will lead you to the port of Mgarr, located in the southern region of Gozo Island, the second-largest island in the Maltese archipelago. Take pleasure in its idyllic beaches and rich archaeological sites.
Comino, the archipelago's smallest island, is a must-visit for its breathtaking Mediterranean scenery. The renowned Blue Lagoon is a highlight, where the ferry will dock. This small island offers ample chances for invigorating swims as well as easy hiking paths.
Ferry Operation
The ferry allows unlimited boarding and disembarking throughout the day.
Based on your departure time, enjoy varied free time on each island: either 2 hours in Gozo and then 2 hours in Comino; or vice versa; or you may opt for 5 hours on one island.

The ferry operates from the following ports on Malta:
- Sliema Harbour
- Bugibba Pier
Route between Comino and Gozo follows this schedule:
- Departing from Sliema: two departures at 10 am. Return to Sliema Harbour is at 5:05 pm or 6:10 pm (from May 10 to October 1); or at 5:40 pm (from October 2 to May 9).
- From Bugibba: departing at 10:40 am (from October 1 to April 18) or at 11:30 am (from April 19 to October 1). Return arranged at 7:30 pm (from May 10 to October 1) or at 5 pm (from October 2 to May 9).
Essential Details
Commencing May 1, 2025, those wishing to visit the Blue Lagoon in Comino must secure a complimentary entrance ticket through the Government's website (www.blcomino.com) for afternoon visits. Failure to reserve this ticket will preclude access to the lagoon. However, if you prefer swimming in the lagoon or remaining on board, a ticket will not be necessary.

Important information
The ferry departs at the indicated times from the following ports, which are located on the island of Malta:
- Captain Morgan Boat Quay, Sliema Harbour (opposite Sliema Hotel by ST Hotels)
- Bugibba Pier, at Buggiba Jetty (https://maps.app.goo.gl/NxJ5JU1PfKegYBVHA).
Schedules
The ferry between Comino and Gozo has the following schedule:
- Port of Sliema: 2 departures at 10 am. The return to Sliema Harbour is scheduled at 5:05 pm or 6:10 pm (from 10 May to 1 October); or at 5:40 pm (from 2 October to 9 May).
- Port of Bugibba: departure at 10:40 am (from 1 October to 18 April) or at 11:30 am (from 19 April to 1 October). Return scheduled at 7:30 pm (from 10 May to 1 October) or at 5 pm (from 2 October to 9 May).
Please be at the boarding points at least 15 minutes before departure.

Register to Visit Comino
In order to visit Comino, you'll need to register for free on the Malta Government website: https://blcomino.com/product/blue-lagoon/
It's important that you select the same date as your booking and the afternoon slot.
Please note that you can register up to a maximum of 4 people.
Important
- After registration, you'll receive a QR code by email, which you'll need to present on the day of the activity before boarding the ferry from Malta. You won't be allowed to board without this government document, and it will not be possible to request a refund for tickets purchased through Civitatis if the QR code is not presented.
- Before disembarking at Comino, government officials will scan the QR code, issue an identification wristband, and you'll then be able to continue your visit.
