Join us for an unforgettable day trip to uncover the stunning beauty of the Amalfi Coast as we travel by boat to Amalfi and Positano, with a visit to the quaint village of Ravello.
Day Trip Overview
Your adventure starts with a timely pickup from your chosen meeting point in Sorrento, followed by a journey to the port where our boat excursion along the Amalfi Coast will commence. As we cruise, enjoy the scenic panorama of the coastline while discovering the rich history of this captivating region.
Our first destination is Amalfi, where we will take in remarkable sights, including the Bagni della Regina Giovanna, a natural pool reputedly enjoyed by Queen Giovanna II of Naples for her secret bathing rituals. Could the legends hold some truth?
We will also pass by Baia de Leranto, known as a natural reserve that has ties to Greek mythology, being the home of sirens who attempted to enchant Odysseus with their melodious voices. Additional highlights include Li Galli Island, the Bay of Nerano, Praiano, and the renowned Fiordo di Furore, famous for its annual diving competition.
Upon arrival in Amalfi, you'll enjoy 1 hour of leisure time to wander through the city's stunning monuments designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the iconic Duomo di Sant'Andrea, known for its striking Arab-Norman architectural style.
Next, we will board a minibus to head to Ravello, a tranquil settlement celebrated as a muse for countless artists and writers throughout history. You will have 1 hour of free time to discover the magnificent Villa Rufolo and its gardens, which offer breathtaking views over the Gulf of Salerno.
Following our visit to Ravello, we will return to Amalfi and continue our journey by boat to Positano, famously referred to as the jewel of the Amalfi Coast. You will have 1 hour of free time to meander through its charming narrow streets, explore unique artisan shops and ceramics boutiques, and immerse yourself in the inviting ambiance. Prepare to capture memorable photographs of its vibrant buildings and picturesque beaches!
Finally, we will head back to the meeting point, marking the conclusion of this enriching 8-hour excursion.
