Sorrento Wine Tasting Experience

Activity Details

The experience begins at the appointed time at In Vino Veritas, located next to the central Piazza Tasso in Sorrento.

We'll start with an introduction to the wines of the Campania region, covering grape harvest and traditional viticulture techniques. This includes an overview of the winemaking process and specific methods used in each stage.

Participants will enjoy a tasting of 4 wines: Fiano di Avellino (white), Pallagrello Rosato (rosé), Aglianico del Taburno Docg (red), and Taurasi (red). We will learn to identify their characteristics, including taste, aroma, color, and flavor.

For the pairing, we will experience a selection of typical sausages, starting with Parma ham and mortadella from Bologna, followed by capocollo from Martina Franca, and concluding with salami from Naples.

We will then proceed with a tasting of Italian cheeses: 36-month-old Parmigiano Reggiano, pecorino Romano, mozzarella ciliegine from the Lattari mountains, and goat cheese, accompanied by taggiasche olives, focaccia, and Neapolitan tarallo.

After 1.5 hours of wine tasting and pairing, we will conclude this wine experience.
