Tour Overview

At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your accommodation, chosen from the locations listed below. Following a short minibus journey, we will arrive at a picturesque natural area on the city's periphery, marking the start of our horseback riding experience in Jamao al Norte.

Initially, you will be fitted with helmets, and a brief introduction to horse riding will be provided. We then commence our trot beside the Yasica River, taking in the rich plant life unique to this region. After approximately 20 minutes of riding, we will pause at a pristine water pool to sample two local specialties: handcrafted cheese and rodao, a traditional biscuit.

Once we resume our journey, we will traverse the Dominican Republic's lush woodlands on horseback for about two hours, where you may spot hummingbirds, woodpeckers, and nightingales. Around midday, we will halt at a community by the river to enjoy a meal consisting of rice, beans, chicken, salad, and beverages.

Post-lunch, you will have the option to continue the horse ride or take some time to enjoy a refreshing swim. Ultimately, we will conclude the experience by returning to the pickup location in Jamao al Norte, totaling around 5 to 10 hours.
