If you have a passion for history, archaeology, and culture, our day trip to Klis and Trogir will captivate you! This excursion includes a visit to an ancient Roman amphitheater, exploration of medieval ruins, and a glimpse at the locations where Game of Thrones was filmed.

Klis & Trogir Tour

At the arranged time, your journey will begin with a pickup from your accommodation in Split, followed by a short bus ride to the town of Klis, located just thirty minutes away. Upon reaching the destination, we will ascend to Klis Fortress, a historical stronghold that has protected the area since the 16th century.

Not only does this fortress boast impressive walls, but it also offers breathtaking panoramic views. Additionally, its fame has soared due to its portrayal in Game of Thrones where it served as the backdrop for Meereen, the most significant city in the Bay of Dragons.

Following our time in Klis, a picturesque 40-minute drive along the Dalmatian Coast will bring us to the enchanting town of Trogir.

Once we arrive, we’ll commence with a visit to the Cathedral of St. Lawrence, where you will partake in a guided tour that showcases its magnificent interior. Subsequently, guests will have leisure time to wander through the quaint streets and sites of this stunning city, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

For those who are fans of Game of Thrones, several of Trogir's structures may look familiar—this locale represented Qarth, renowned as “the greatest city that ever was or ever will be.”

After we conclude our exploration of Trogir and Klis, we will make our way back to your hotel in Split, aiming to arrive approximately four hours after the initial pickup.
