- Meet at the Zion South Entrance Pedestrian Bridge for a safety review and waiver signing. - Take a short walk to the Zion Park shuttle and hike various trails including Lower Emerald Pools, Riverside Walk, and Pa'rus Trail. The itinerary may change due to weather, trail closures, or congestion. - Tour concludes at the Zion Human History Museum (open seasonally) where you can explore independently or take the shuttle to the Visitors Center to exit the park. - Total hiking distance is approximately 4-5 miles on beginner-friendly trails, including about 175 stairs. 15 minutes before the indicated time, we’ll meet at the entrance of the Zion National Park Visitor Center at the Pa’rus Trail. You can check the exact location at the following Google Maps link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/NpKhMnzPPFSVn6jo7.
You’ll recognize the guide by a sign with the words Explore Zion Tours.
Admission not Included
Please note that the Zion National Park entrance fee is not included and costs 20USD for U.S. adults, 120USD for foreign adults, and is free for children under 15.
Important Information
- We’ll walk a total of approximately 6.5 km (4 miles), including a section with 175 steps
- The route will be divided into hiking stages, scenic stops, and some short minibus transfers
- This hiking route is ideal for beginners, families, and those who want to explore Zion without steep descents or strenuous climbs
- Although the hike includes some stairs and uneven terrain, the pace is relaxed and designed to be accessible
What to Bring
- A small backpack
- At least 1 liter (34 oz) of water per person
- Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat
- Sturdy hiking shoes with good traction
- Clothing suitable for changing weather conditions (the canyon is usually cool and shaded in the mornings)
