Schilthorn Cable Car
This journey comes with a round-trip ticket for the cable car, which connects the village of Stechelberg to the peak of Schilthorn, soaring nearly 10,000 feet (2,970 meters) high.
The ascent from Stechelberg to Schilthorn takes approximately 22 minutes, featuring three stops at Gimmelwald, Mürren, and Birg.
While your reservation will specify a time, you're free to explore at your convenience. The cable car operates from Stechelberg between 7:55 am and 2:55 pm, departing every 30 minutes. Additionally, the cars come down from the Schilthorn every hour, with the last descent available at 4:25 pm during summer and at 3:55 pm in winter.
Thrill Walk Birg
Disembarking at Birg, one of the cable car's stops, allows you to traverse the stunning Thrill Walk Birg. This 656-foot (200-meter) suspension bridge hangs majestically at an elevation of 8,782 feet (2,677 meters) above sea level.
As you walk along the bridge, take in the exceptional panoramic views of the towering Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau mountains.
Piz Gloria
Your visit also includes access to the renowned Piz Gloria restaurant, which revolves to reveal all-encompassing views. Please note that meal and beverage purchases at the restaurant are not part of the ticket.
Youth Under 6
Children aged six or under do not require a ticket and can ride the cable car for free when accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.
