Free Walking Tour of Stockholm
Description
With its stunning architecture, rich culture, and intriguing history, Stockholm's Old Town awaits your discovery on this inclusive walking tour led by a knowledgeable English-speaking guide.
Tour Overview
We’ll gather at a key location in Stockholm at the scheduled time to kick off this complimentary tour. Are you prepared to embark on this journey?
During our exploration, we will delve into the city’s Viking heritage and witness how it evolved into the Swedish capital as we navigate through some of its most significant landmarks.
Our first significant stop will be the Parliament, known as the Riksdag, where we’ll provide insights into Swedish political systems. We will also encounter the Royal Palace, an impressive structure recognized as one of the largest castles in Europe and the residence of the Swedish royal family.
As we continue our exploration of Stockholm, you will want to take a moment to admire the narrowest street in the city, Mårten Trotzigs Gränd, where we will share its fascinating 16th-century stories, as well as visit St Nicholas’s Cathedral, the oldest church in the capital.
Our journey will guide us past the charming streets, leading to the Nobel Museum, where we’ll discuss one of the globe’s most esteemed awards, and stroll through Stortorget Square, the oldest square in Stockholm.
As we wrap up our tour, which will last between 2 and 2.5 hours, we’ll reach the final destination near Stortorget.
Group Limitations
This complimentary tour is designed for groups of no more than 6 participants. For those wishing to join with more people, we suggest considering a private tour of Stockholm.
