Your adventure begins at 9 am, as we collect you from your accommodation in Sao Paulo to embark on this cultural experience. Let's begin the journey!
We will head toward Paraisópolis, recognized as the second-largest favela in the city. Upon arrival, a 3-hour guided tour awaits, taking you through the intimate alleyways of the neighborhood. Together, we will explore the vibrant life, rich traditions, and community camaraderie that characterize this area.
During the tour, you will visit Berbela's mechanical workshop, where the artist crafts stunning sculptures using discarded motorbike parts and various other materials.
We will also encounter one of Paraisópolis's most distinctive landmarks, Estevão's Stone House. Estevão, often referred to as the Gaudí of Paraisópolis, has filled this home with a variety of objects, like cups and plates, which enhance its unique architectural style.
Feeling hungry? After wandering through the community, we will arrive at Bistro Mãos de Maria. Nestled on the rooftop of a local community association, this inviting spot invites you to enjoy some delicious feijoada, a dish made with beans and salted pork, typically served with rice and oranges.
After an enriching 6 hours delving into a different aspect of Sao Paulo, we'll take you back to your hotel, where you will arrive by 3 pm.

If your hotel is located more than 3 miles (5 kilometres) away from the Hotel Unique, we'll meet up at the scheduled time in front of this hotel (Av. Brigadeiro Luís Antônio, 4700 - Jardim Paulista, São Paulo - SP, 01402-002).
