Description

At the designated time, we'll meet at the entrance of the Italia Building and start a guided tour of the historic center.

Look up! This 550-foot (168-meter) skyscraper was declared a World Heritage Site due to its flawless vertical architecture. We'll then pass by the Municipal Theatre, an eclectic construction inspired by the Paris Opera House.

As we continue walking, we'll come to the Ramos de Azevedo Square, followed by the Pátio do Colégio. This place was built in the 16th century with the intention of catechizing the area's indigenous populations, which led to conflicts between missionaries and colonizers.

We'll then go to the Aroma e Sabor restaurant, where we'll enjoy a delicious traditional buffet lunch. While we eat, we'll take in incredible views of the São Bento Monastery and the Farol de Santander building.

After lunch, we'll head to the area of Liberdade to explore Sao Paulo's Japanese neighbourhood. We'll discuss the traditions and lifestyle in this community and learn about their history of settlement in the area. We'll conclude this 4-hour tour back at the meeting point.
