Private Exploration of Tenondé Porã Indigenous Territory

Your adventure begins at 8 am with a pickup from your accommodation in Sao Paulo, followed by a scenic drive heading south towards the Indigenous territory of Tenondé Porã.

After approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes on the road, we will arrive at a vibrant community of about 1,200 members of the Guaraní Indigenous people, where time-honored traditions and the Guaraní language remain a vital part of daily life.

As we explore the Indigenous territory of Tenondé Porã, you'll gain insight into the community's everyday routines. We will start by observing their agricultural practices, featuring a variety of fruit trees like bananas, guavas, and mangoes, alongside staple crops such as maize and cassava.

During this visit, community members will guide us through a series of activities. You’ll have the opportunity to stroll through the territory while discovering local flora and fauna. Enjoy the sights and sounds as children sing traditional songs, perform dances, and showcase their handmade arts and crafts.

If hunger strikes, savor a traditional Guaraní lunch prepared by the community. After the meal, feel free to relax with some leisure time at the nearby lake.

As the day comes to a close, we will bid farewell to our hosts and make our way back to Sao Paulo, aiming to return to your hotel by approximately 6 pm.

The pickup service is available for guests staying within a 3-mile (5-kilometer) radius of the Hotel Unique. If your accommodation is situated beyond this area, you will need to arrange transport to the Hotel Unique for the pickup.
