Tour Details
At the scheduled time, we will meet you at the Taipei 101 Metro Station, Exit 4, to kick off an unforgettable night tour of Taipei. Are you ready to uncover the wonders of Taiwan’s capital?
Our first highlight will be the renowned Taipei 101, which stands elegantly at a height of over 1,640 feet (500 meters). Weather permitting, you will have the opportunity to ascend to the observatory and relish stunning panoramic views of the city illuminated after dark. We’ll dedicate approximately an hour and a half to this remarkable landmark. A fascinating fact: its design takes inspiration from a bamboo stalk!
Following that, we’ll pause for 15 minutes at the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, a monumental complex dedicated to one of the key figures in 20th-century Chinese history. While daytime visits showcase its changing of the guard ceremony, evening visits provide a tranquil and introspective experience—you’ll be captivated by its stunning presence in the night.
Our next destination is Longshan Temple, a treasure of Taiwanese tradition. This sacred space, frequented by locals seeking prayer and solace, exemplifies the rich architectural styles of religious heritage. We’ll spend around 30 minutes here, delving into the island’s spiritual practices and the manifestations of faith within Taiwanese culture.
To conclude our evening, we will explore the Ningxia Night Market—widely cherished by the local community. Prepare for an hour of wandering through vibrantly lit stalls while uncovering the essential components of Taiwanese gastronomy. Here’s your chance to sample local delicacies such as crispy taro balls or the celebrated oyster omelet. Are you up for the culinary adventure?
This captivating night tour of Taipei will conclude after a total duration of 4.5 hours.
