On the day designated for the flight, we will gather at the Talkeetna Air Taxi facilities. Are you ready to take to the skies? Let’s embark!
Following a safety briefing, we will board the aircraft and ascend towards the Alaska Range. While in flight, witnesses breathtaking sights of the magnificent glaciers surrounding Talkeetna.
The journey will take us along the southern slope of the mountain range, providing opportunities to appreciate the expansive tundra below. Subsequently, we will venture northwards to explore the reverse side of Denali, known also as Mount McKinley, where the iconic Wickersham Wall awaits. This immense and perilous ice-rock face ranks among the largest in the globe, revealing a staggering vertical drop of over 1377 ft (4200 m), a sight that promises to leave viewers in awe.
As our adventure continues, prepare for a truly memorable experience: landing on a glacier. We will gently touch down, allowing time for a 30-minute exploration of the icy expanse around us, where you can walk among the majestic formations of the Alaska Range.
Once we conclude our glacier experience, we will board our aircraft again for the return flight, ensuring you enjoy one last look at the remarkable Denali from above. After about two hours, we will land back at our departure point, where we will conclude this unforgettable journey with farewells.

On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the facilities of Talkeetna Air Taxi, located at the following address: 14212 E Second St, Talkeetna, AK 99676, United States. The agency is located inside a wooden cabin in the Talkeetna State Airport. You can check the exact meeting point at the following Google Maps link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/21XLxFfTWVY6CVpg9.
Please arrive at the meeting point at least 45 minutes before the tour starts.

- All flights and glacier landings depend on the weather conditions. In the event of unsuitable weather conditions, you'll receive a full refund, or you can reschedule your flight.
- You can contact the local team before your flight to check the weather conditions.
- We'll provide you with waterproof boots for walking on the glacier.
- Please note that admission to the Denali National Park and Preserve is not included in the activity. You'll need to pay the fee (15USD per person over 16 years old).
