Tambor Private Fishing Experience

On this fishing experience in Tambor, participants will embark on a journey through Ballena Bay, seeking out schools of fish such as tuna, snapper, and sea bream.

Activity Details

Meet at the designated time on Tambor beach, where we will board the boat ready to venture into the waters of Ballena Bay, located at the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula. Prepare for both relaxation and excitement while fishing in Costa Rica's beautiful waters.

During the trip, the coastline will reveal a stunning display of jungle-covered cliffs, secluded beaches, and small islands appearing from the sea. We will navigate to the best fishing spots, where schools of fish can be found and predators lie in wait.

Once at the fishing spots, we'll equip our fishing gear and cast our lines, targeting species such as grouper, red snapper, gilthead bream , or the distinctive roosterfish known for its unique dorsal crest. Expect the thrill of reeling in yellowfin tuna or black tuna, which provide a significant challenge for every angler.

Throughout the 4-hour experience, we will take breaks to savor fruit, juices, and beers, making the day a blend of excitement, patience, surprises, and relaxation.
