Tour Overview

Day 1: Arrival in Tangier – Tétouan – Chefchaouen

At the scheduled time, we will greet you at the Tangier Airport or your hotel to commence a fascinating 7-day journey across Morocco. Are you ready to immerse yourself in the unique culture, stunning landscapes, and richly historical cities of this magnificent country?

Our adventure begins with a drive of about 1.5 hours, stopping first in Tétouan, often referred to as The White Dove due to the light color of its buildings. Its architecture harmoniously blends Arabic influences and Mediterranean flair, a delight to behold!

After spending approximately 1.5 hours discovering the city's gems, we will continue our journey to the picturesque town of Chefchaouen. Here, you will have the afternoon to explore why it is celebrated as the blue city. An option to join a free tour of Chefchaouen is available, or you may simply relax, enjoy a meal, and savor local culinary offerings.

As the day concludes, we will check in to a hotel in Chefchaouen, where you can unwind in preparation for the next day's adventures.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez

Kick off your day with breakfast at the hotel before departing for Volubilis, an archaeological gem that showcases the remnants of an ancient Roman city. You'll have 1.5 hours to marvel at its exquisitely preserved mosaics and temples.

Next, we will travel to Meknes, another of Morocco's imperial cities. Here, you will have 2 hours to delve into its rich history; be sure to visit landmarks like the iconic Bab Mansur al-'Alj, the impressive Sahrij Souani reservoir, and the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.

In the afternoon, we will proceed to Fez, where we'll stay in a charming riad located in the vibrant heart of the city. After settling in, you can enjoy the rest of the day to explore Fez at your leisure and sample its distinctive cuisine.

Day 3: Exploring Fez

After breakfast, our guided tour of Fez, the intellectual and spiritual center of Morocco with nearly 800 mosques, will commence. The first stop will be the Royal Palace gate and the historic Jewish quarter, known as the Mellah.

Next, we will venture into the Medina of Fez, recognized as the largest in North Africa and designated as a World Heritage Site. Wandering through its complex alleyways, you will discover remarkable sites, including Bab Boujloud, the Bou Inania Madrasa, and the famous Nejjarine fountain, alongside the revered Quaraouiyine Mosque. It's going to be a day filled with exploration!

As your day winds down, you will have some free time to enjoy lunch and continue uncovering the city's charms at your own pace before returning to the riad for the night.

Day 4: Fez – Rabat – Casablanca

Following breakfast, we will set off for Rabat, the capital of Morocco and home to many historical treasures. In Rabat, you'll enjoy 3 hours of free time to explore landmarks such as the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, and the mausoleum of Mohammed V, which commemorates the sultan who led the country to independence and is respectfully guarded by royal sentries.

Don't miss a stroll through the scenic Kasbah of the Oudayas before we continue our journey to Casablanca, where we will spend the next night.

Day 5: Discovering Casablanca

After breakfast, we will embark on a guided tour of the city, recognized as Morocco's economic heart, to view its most notable attractions. Among them, we will visit the Hassan II Mosque, the second largest mosque in the world after Mecca, standing majestically by the Atlantic Ocean, and take a leisurely walk along the bustling Corniche, showcasing the city’s vibrant mix of tradition and modernity.

In the afternoon, you will have time to continue exploring the city and indulging in its culinary delights at your leisure. Until tomorrow!

Day 6: Journey to Marrakech

After breakfast and a morning departure, we will travel to Marrakech, located around 240 km (149 mi) from Casablanca. Upon arrival, we will kick off our exploration at Jemaa el-Fna Square, where you can soak in the vibrant atmosphere filled with snake charmers, jugglers, and bustling food stalls—all the lively spirit of Marrakech unfolds here!

Our itinerary also includes visits to the striking Koutoubia Mosque and the Saadian Tombs, as well as an exterior view of the Bahia Palace. You will also have the chance to get lost in the enchanting souks, filled with unique crafts and aromas.

Following the guided portion of the day, enjoy some free time for lunch and further exploration. In the evening, we will reconvene at our accommodations for rest.

Day 7: Marrakech

On your final day, you have the option to explore Marrakech at your own pace. If you are departing on the same day, we can provide transportation to the airport at a time that suits your schedule, ensuring a smooth conclusion to your Moroccan adventure.

Possible Changes to the Itinerary

Please note that Bab Mansur al-'Alj and Sahrij Souani are currently undergoing construction and will be closed until further notice.

Accommodation Details

The tour encompasses 6 nights of accommodation with breakfast provided at various 3-star hotels and riads:

• Chefchaouen (1 night): El Palacio & Spa, Dar terrae plus, or similar
• Fez (2 nights): Riad Jeanne, Riad Farah, or similar
• Marrakech (2 nights): Oum Palace Hotel & Spa, Kenzi Basma Hotel, or similar
• Casablanca (1 night): Riad Dar Soukaina, Les Jardins Mandaline, or similar

Children between the ages of 6 and 12 are eligible for a discount compared to the adult fare, provided they share accommodations with their parents or guardians. Only one child is permitted per double room. Children below 6 can travel for free, but must share a bed with an adult.

Important: Schedule & Flights

If you are booking your outbound flight to Tangier, please keep in mind that pickup will be at 10 am, so your flight should arrive no later than 8 am. To ensure a smooth start, we recommend arranging a hotel stay in Tangier the night before the tour begins, with costs being your responsibility.

On the final day of the tour, airport drop-off can be arranged at your preferred time.
