Tour Details
We'll commence our journey by collecting you from your hotel in Tangier. The adventure begins with a visit to Cape Espartel and the Caves of Hercules.
Our first stop will be at Perdicaris Park, a picturesque green oasis ideal for nature enthusiasts and photography lovers, showcasing stunning panoramic views. After a brief exploration, we will proceed towards Cape Spartel. After approximately thirty minutes of travel, we’ll reach the renowned lighthouse, where you can soak in breathtaking vistas that highlight the confluence of the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Capture those unforgettable moments with a souvenir photo!
Following our time at the lighthouse, we will journey to a nearby beach, where you will have the option to enjoy a 30-minute camel ride along the coast. Should you choose not to partake in the ride, an alternative option is available, allowing you to stroll peacefully along the shore and unwind by the ocean’s edge.
Next, we will explore the fascinating Caves of Hercules, renowned as "The Map of Africa." The grotto features two openings and is steeped in legendary history. Are you familiar with the tale of the Greek hero Heracles? It is believed he spent a night within these caves as part of his legendary twelve labors.
Upon completing our exploration of the caves, we will make our way back to Tangier, a journey that will last about 20 minutes. We will conclude our excursion by returning you to your hotel or, if you prefer, to the vibrant medina after approximately three hours.

For those participating in the afternoon tour, please note that the sequence will be reversed, starting with the visit to the Caves of Hercules.

Important information
On the day of the activity, the local tour operator will pick you up at your accommodation in the centre of Tangier. Please be ready to go at least 15 minutes beforehand.
Itinerary Order
Please remember that for the afternoon tour, the route will be done in the opposite order, starting with the Caves of Hercules.
