Get to know two of the most enchanting cities in Sicily on this day trip to Palermo and Cefalu from Taormina.
Palermo & Cefalu Day Trip
Meet us at the Taormina bus station to start our day trip to Palermo and Cefalu.
After a 3-hour bus ride, we'll arrive in Palermo for a guided tour of the city's emblematic sites.
We will explore the old town and arrive at Quattro Canti, where Via Maqueda and Via Vittorio Emanuele intersect.
Next, we will pass by Martorana Church in Bellini Plaza, a historically significant site that showcases various architectural styles due to multiple renovations.
Continuing our route, we will arrive at Pretoria Plaza and then visit Il Capo Market, where you can enjoy a local dish.
With energy restored, we will head to Cefalu after a short 1-hour bus ride. We will visit the historical Old Town and the Cathedral, known for its Norman-Byzantine mosaic of the Christ Pantocrator.
Finally, we will return to the starting point, concluding our day after approximately 12 to 13 hours.
