Bethlehem & Jericho Day Trip

Our journey begins with a pickup from your hotel in Tel Aviv at approximately 7:15 am, as we make our way in a comfortable minibus towards Jericho.

As we traverse the Judean desert, we will pass the Inn of the Good Samaritan, which evokes one of Jesus's most famous parables. Soon, we will arrive in Jericho, the oldest city on the planet.

Our first stop will be the sycamore tree that Zacchaeus famously climbed to catch a glimpse of Jesus. Throughout our exploration of Jericho, we will uncover the historical backdrops of various biblical events, including the narrative of Joshua's march around the city walls leading to their collapse and the conquest of Canaan.

Subsequently, we will bid farewell to Jericho, passing by the Mount of Temptation as we head towards our next destination: Bethlehem. In Bethlehem, we will explore Manger Square, the heart of the city, and visit the renowned Basilica of the Nativity, where we will view the grotto that marked the birth of Jesus.

Our visit to Bethlehem will also include a stop at the Church of Santa Catalina, known for its ancient caves that contain historic tombs and sanctuaries. Finally, we will exit Bethlehem via the Shepherds' Field, rounding off our exploration.

The day concludes around 5:15 pm, returning you to your hotel in Tel Aviv.
