About La Rojeña Distillery

Situated in the vibrant town of Tequila, La Rojeña stands as the oldest continuously operating distillery in Latin America, established in 1758. Stepping inside this historic location, you will be greeted by the fragrant scent of agave, transporting you through time while you wander the traditional courtyards and rooms.

Throughout your visit, you will witness the step-by-step process of traditional tequila production. You will observe the selection of agave, its cooking in masonry ovens, the extraction of juices, and the aging of the spirit in barrels within the cellar.

José Cuervo Experience (1.5 Hours)

If you're eager for a more in-depth exploration, this choice provides a comprehensive tour of the distillery, complete with an intricate explanation of the entire process. The highlight is the guided tasting of 4 different tequilas from the José Cuervo Tradicional range, perfect for honing your ability to discern various aromas and flavors.

Distillery & Agave Fields Tour (3 Hours)

This experience allows you to connect directly with the roots of the beverage. We will start by visiting the agave fields, where you’ll gain knowledge about their cultivation and harvesting in the expansive agave landscape. Following this, we will return to the distillery for a guided tour, where you can partake in a tasting of three distinct tequilas, concluding with a delightful selection of traditional Mexican botanas, showcasing the country’s renowned appetizers.
