Cueva Bonita Kayak Adventure
At your designated time, we will gather at the well-known Porís de Candelaria cave, situated in a quaint fishing village on the western shores of La Palma. Prior to embarking on our kayaking journey, we will provide essential safety instructions and demonstrate effective paddling techniques to ensure a secure outing.
Next, the excitement begins! Once settled into our kayaks, we will commence our paddling journey southward along La Palma’s stunning coastline. Leaving Porís de Candelaria behind, we will navigate towards Cueva Bonita, a striking sea cave nestled against a dramatic cliff. Get ready to explore this exceptional volcanic grotto as we glide through its waters.
As we venture inside the cave, marveling at its clear waters, you will hear captivating stories and legends surrounding the legendary Sistine Chapel of the Atlantic. Interestingly, this spot historically served as a haven for locals during pirate assaults in the 17th century!
After thoroughly exploring Cueva Bonita, we will begin our return journey to Porís de Candelaria. Depending on the group's pace, the activity will last between one to two hours before concluding back at the starting point.
