Cueva Bonita Kayaking Experience

At your selected time, we will gather at the notable cave in Porís de Candelaria, a quaint coastal fishing village situated on the western shore of La Palma. Prior to embarking on the kayaks, a briefing on essential safety measures along with some useful paddling techniques will be provided.

Following this preparation, the excitement begins! Once aboard the kayaks, we will commence our exploratory tour, heading south along the picturesque coastline of La Palma. Leaving Porís de Candelaria behind, our route will lead us to Cueva Bonita, a striking sea cave nestled at the base of a dramatic cliff. From our kayaks, we will take in the beauty of this well-known volcanic formation, gliding slowly into its depths.

As we delve into the cave and appreciate its brilliant waters, we will share captivating stories surrounding the celebrated Sistine Chapel of the Atlantic. Interestingly, this location once served as a sanctuary for locals from pirate threats during the 17th century!

After our exploration of Cueva Bonita, we will return to Porís de Candelaria. The tour lasts around two hours, concluding at our initial gathering point.

Sunset Kayak Tour

If you opt for this experience, we’ll follow the same scenic route, but you will have the opportunity to witness a stunning sunset over Cueva Bonita.

Throughout the tour, there will be a brief pause to savor a snack and take in the sunset from the water. This will create a truly memorable experience on the western coastline of La Palma!

Finally, after an enriching 2.5-hour journey, we will conclude by returning to the starting location.
