Downtown Toronto Sightseeing Tour
Description
Explore the highlights of Toronto on a guided excursion, immersing yourself in notable landmarks, lively districts, and picturesque vistas for a memorable journey!
Tour Overview
Welcome to Ontario's vibrant capital! At the designated time, we will initiate this guided experience in front of Union Station, right next to the Multiculturalism Monument.
Following a brief 5-minute stroll from the station, our first stop will be the renowned Gooderham Building. Nestled at the junction of Front Street East and Wellington Street East, this structure is affectionately named the Flatiron Building due to its unique geometry. Close to this architectural gem lies the bustling Saint Lawrence Market, where we will savor a traditional Canadian treat.
As we proceed with our walking tour, we will visit Saint James Park. Here, the magnificent facade of the Cathedral Church of St. James will catch our attention, particularly its impressive bell tower. Are you curious about its height? We will uncover that soon! Our next destination will be the splendid Old City Hall, which served as Toronto’s former municipal hub. This enchanting Neo-Romanesque structure is a true emblem of the downtown area.
Our journey will continue along Queen Street, a lengthy avenue that leads us to the smaller Graffiti Alley, celebrated for its numerous vibrant urban art murals. Interestingly, this location has gained popularity as one of the city’s most photographed sites!
