Albi and Cordes-sur-Ciel Day Trip
The journey begins at 29 Allée Jean Jaurès in Toulouse at the specified departure time. Within just an hour, we arrive in Albi, celebrated for its stunning architecture and designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Once in Albi, you will have four hours of leisure to savor its culinary delights and explore its iconic spots. An English brochure will be provided, featuring a city map and vouchers for the most important museums and landmarks.
Among the highlights, we suggest visiting Sainte-Cecile, the largest brick cathedral globally, where you can admire the beautiful frescoes illustrating sacred themes like Creation and Resurrection. Adjacent to this majestic cathedral is the Berbie Palace, once a papal residence, now home to the renowned Toulouse-Lautrec Museum. Don't miss a stroll through the elegantly designed gardens of the palace.
After exploring Albi, we will regroup at the city center and head to Cordes-sur-Ciel, a captivating village just a half-hour drive away. Here, you will enjoy two and a half hours of free time to wander through this medieval town at your own pace. The historic center boasts several well-preserved fortifications, including the striking Porte des Ormeaux, which served as a main entrance to the village.
As the day comes to a close, we will depart from Cordes-sur-Ciel and return to Toulouse, completing a total duration of 9 hours.

Important information
15 minutes before the appointed time, you must go to the following address in Toulouse: 29, Allée Jean Jaurès, right by the Place d'Armenie bus stop.
You can get to the meeting point by public transport, as the Jean-Jaurès metro station is only a few minutes away. This stop belongs to lines A (the red one) and B (the yellow one).
Audio Guide
On the day of the day trip, once you get onto the bus. we'll provide a leaflet with all the information of the day in French, English, and Spanish. The leaflet also includes a QR code to download the app to your mobile device in order to use the audio guide.
To use the audio guide, simply open the app on your device, create an account, and enter the six digits that appear in the brochure next to the QR code to access the audio guide.
However, we recommend downloading the audio guide in advance. To do so, follow these steps:
- Step 1: Download the Henri Trip app at https://apps.apple.com/us/app/henri-trip-guide-interactif/id6448281751
- Step 2: Click on Run.
- Step 3: Put in the following code: 260081 (Albi and Cordes).
We recommend downloading the app beforehand to not waste data during the visit.
