We will gather at Allée Jean Jaurès, number 29 in Toulouse at the appointed hour, boarding a comfortable bus for a journey to the citadel of Carcassonne, situated merely an hour away.
Upon arrival in this enchanting medieval city, we'll guide you to the Porte Narbonaise, where you'll enjoy 6 hours of leisure time to savor the local cuisine and appreciate the stunning old town at your own pace. An English brochure will be provided, and you'll have the option to download a complimentary audio guide in English on your mobile device.
The impressive walls encircling Carcassonne, stretching over 3 km (approximately 2 miles) and boasting 52 towers, are sure to astound you as they guard the legendary tales of the Cathars. Within these fortified walls lies the Castle of Carcassonne, one of the most significant historical landmarks in the Occitanie region of France.
A stroll through the old town is highly recommended, where you'll encounter remarkable sites, such as the Basilica of Sainte-Nazaire, noted for its Romanesque and Gothic architectural elements.
If you wish, explore the external areas of the fortress, where you can observe the ancient medieval entrances, including the Porte Narbonnaise and the Porte de l'Aude.
Our journey will conclude with a return trip to Toulouse aboard the bus, wrapping up this enriching 8-hour adventure.

Important information
Meeting Point
15 minutes before the appointed time, you must report to the following address in Toulouse: Allée Jean Jaurès, 29, next to the Place d'Armenie bus stop.
You can get to the meeting point by public transport, as the Jean-Jaurès metro station is just a few minutes away. This stop belongs to lines A (the red one) and B (the yellow one).
Entrance Fees Not Included
Please note that entrance tickets to the castle and ramparts of Carcassonne are not included. If you decide to visit these sites, you will have to buy a joint ticket for both.
Audioguide
On the day of the excursion, when you board the bus, we will provide you with a brochure containing all the information for the day in French, English, and Spanish. The brochure also includes a QR code to download the application to use the audioguide.
To use the audioguide, you simply need to open the application on your mobile device, create an account, and enter the six digits that appear on the brochure next to the QR code to access the guide.
However, we recommend downloading the audioguide in advance. To do this, follow these steps:
