Whale Watching Fjord Cruise
Description
Embark on an unforgettable journey to witness the remarkable marine mammals residing in the Norwegian fjords during this exceptional whale watching boat excursion.
Fjord Whale Watching Expedition
Join us at 8 am at the pier adjacent to the Skarven Kro Restaurant, located on Kaigata Street in Tromsø. Are you ready to navigate the mesmerizing and frigid waters of the Norwegian fjords?
From early November to late January, the waters around Tromsø invite an array of distinguished visitors. Humpback whales, orcas, porpoises, and other Arctic cetaceans migrate to this northern region of Scandinavia, enticed by the abundance of herring.
Our route will take us through the Norwegian fjords, where we will be vigilant for these captivating creatures. Upon spotting them, we will halt the vessel to enjoy a serene observation as they breach the surface, allowing opportunities for breathtaking photographs. While admiring the whales, you’re welcome to visit the onboard bar, offering a selection of hot beverages.
After experiencing this enchanting display of nature, we expect to return to the departure point between 4 pm and 5 pm.
